The Bordeaux area is full of history rich in a culture that has been able to improve with time and remain dynamic. Gastronomy, embodied in the talents of some of the most famous chefs, is part of this local heritage and is considered an art. SEE proposes cooking programs mixing modern flair and authenticity with tradition and innovation.

'Cooking is just as creative and imaginative an activity as drawing, or wood carving or music.' Julia Child

Inspired by Southwestern French values which respect seasonal produce and regional culinary traditions.

Cooking classes are held in a Chef’s kitchen or at a chateau. In the morning, you’ll visit the market accompanied by the chef to buy particular products which you’ll cook after and then enjoy for lunch. A recipe notebook will give you the chance to amaze your friends at home!!

A few ideas…

- On a day devoted to truffles, you’ll be received like a VIP by owners of a farm in Perigord. Passionate about their local “black gold”, they’ll teach you their love of the truffle for which you’ll discover all its secrets from cultivation to preparation as well as how its picked.
- In the Armagnac region, you can participate in a cooking class beyond compare. You’ll be received in an authentic gascon home by the owner and chef who will make your mouth water using local produce cooked with a contemporary twist. That’s what makes all the difference – its originality – knowing how to mix traditional cooking with a pinch of innovation!
